What is social justice
Justice in terms of distribution of wealth, opportunities and privileges within society
Why do Christians believe it is important to work for social justice
So God has a fair judgement for all people

What do Christians believe are the benefits to having a just society
Fewer reasons for people to be drawn into conflict
Crime is punished fairly
No need for people to take the law into their own hands
Why might a Christian fight against social injustice
They believe hey have a responsibility to stand up for the weak and oppressed, they advocate for the value and dignity of all humans and therefore are against any forms of social injustice
What is Liberation Theology
Christian Idea that God has the power to change situations in the world which are unjust. Therefore some Christians think it is their right to stand up to governments and in response take part in peaceful protests
