Zakah is 2.5% above the nisab (Sunni) and government collected in Muslim countries and Mosque collected in the UK. NOT CONSIDERED CHARITY
What are the effects of Zakah
Should feel lessened by less money

What is Sadaqah and what does it show
Additional donations they show desire and purpose. Doesn’t have to be money can be time or just a smile

Shia muslims pay khums as one of the 10 obligatory acts
It is a 20% tax on earnings and is paid once a year to a religious scholar
Importance of paying khums
Withholding money from Allah is frauding him and haram
Money goes to support Islamic organisations and Muslim schools
