What is terrorism
Extreme use of violence that spreads terror for an ideological or political goal
What are some causes of terrorism
No alternative
Marginalisation
Appropriate response
Could cause change
What are some different Christian Attitudes to terrorism
Catholic, CoE and wider church
Catholic Church - Sometimes a just war is appropriate
Church of England - accepts the use of lethal force as a last resort
The Church believes that by creating stronger bonds and communities they can combat terrorism
What are some Christian views upon getting involved in politics
Wrong as God is sovereign and can be trusted
Others may say they have an obligation to be involved to stand up to injustice
Some may call upon the 26 Bishops in the Lords Spiritual to bring a spiritual outlook to politics
