जीवविशेष m.
IGNORE THE FOLLOWING. THIS WORD MEANS ‘animal species, species of animal’
\
जीवविशेष m.
SEEMS LIKE IT WOULD MEAN ‘an animal-distinction’ (?). AS WE HAVE SEEN ELSEWHERE, THE ANSWER SEEMS TO BE IN REARRANGING THE FORMAL GRAMMAR OF THE WHOLE PHRASE IN TERMS OF DEEP STRUCTURE – OR, IN OTHER WORDS, TREATING A WHOLE PHRASE (IN SPITE OF THE FACT THAT SOME WORDS HAVE CASE ENDINGS) AS ONE HUGE SINGLE ALUKSAMASA COMPOUND:
\
जीवविशेषस्तव भोज्यः । = ‘an animal (जीव) especially (विशेष) to be eaten (भोज्यः) by you (तव )’
