What is cancer
A
Uncontrollable cell division caused by a mutation and results in a tumour

What is a benign tumour?
A
A tumour contained within a membrane so stays in one place and does not spread. It is not cancerous

What is a malignant tumour
A
A tumour that can spread through the bloodstream to other healthy tissues and cause secondary tumours. This is cancerous
