NERO D’AVOLA, FRAPPATO - STILL WINES (note rose like Abruzzo)

grown from sea to Mt Iblei

50-70% Nero d’Avola & 30-50% Frappato; >13% ABV; CANNOT be released before June 1st, year after harvest

Soils - sand, limestone, more clay inland, terra rosa (ideal for Frappato)

More Nero d’Avola = deeper, richer, fuller
