Prevents ovulation and/or implantation of fertilized egg; does not induce abortion

1.5mg levonorgestrel in single dose
Plan B. OTC
2 doses levonorgestrel (0.75mg); 12H apart
Less effected at 120H (5 days) & ineffective at 7 days
Prescription: ulipristal (Ella) 30mg, single dose
Mixed progesterone
Effective up to 120H (5days) after unprotected intercourse
IUD Insertion: requires office visit
