Its an up or down arrow that signifies whether an asset has any unresolved disabling discrepancies. An entry into the EAL with the discrepancy will cause the asset condition to automatically change to down until the discrepancy is corrected and administratively complete.

Its a Maintenance Due List, it shall be printed out once a month for each asset assigned to the unit. MDL's are the maximum for intervals for inspections

You would submit a CASREP when the shore facilities or shore equipment impairs or degrades mission execution which must be documented. Shore units will submit CASREPS to report a shore facility equipment malfunction or building/structure deficiency that impairs the facilities ability to perform its primary or a secondary mission.

What time frame do you have to submit a CASREP?
Shall be submitted within 24 hours of the discovery of an equipment or system deficiency

What does a CASREP INITIAL identify?
It identifies the status of casualty and parts or assistance that is required.

When do you use a CASREP UPDATE?
It is used to make an update to the initial CASREP. It should be submitted if a CASREP is not corrected after 30 days, then every 30 after that until its corrected. It should be sext within 24 hours after the need for the change is identified.

This is used as the final report for a material casualty repaired by the unit either on its own or with outside assistance, should be sent with in 24 hours of the equipment or system being restored.
