Members shall be evaluated by one supervisor that has supervised the member for

Probationary senior officer and civilian
Civilians have a qualifying period from
6 months, 1 year or longer depending on the job classification
Probationary civilians should be appraised at end of (outlined in contract)
3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th, 18th month or as applicable for the position
Coach officer shall complete appraisal at

End of 2 CWW cycles
Constable reclassifications retained in file for
5 years
Top 25% cadets
Reclassed 2 months early 4th to 3rd
Former cops not continued as police and rehired undergo appraisal
End of 5th CWW or 6 months. Reclass no higher than prior rank and supported by UC, SS and director ppl and culture
Probationary sgts appraisals
3rd, 6th, 10th month following promotion. No annual required. Forwarded to SS for sign off. Retained in file 5 years
Confirmation in rank probationary sgt withheld if subject of inv by

Constables 3rd class to 2nd
Upon recommendation of UC, chief shall recommend to the board for reclass
3rd class to second class, 2nd to 1st appraisals done when
2 months in advance of reclass. SS signs off
Minimum 12 months in rank for reclass. If off must return to policing function for at least
90 days
Reclass withheld may appeal within
72 hours time was informed
