Why did Stalin financially support the Guomindang?

He believed they were the strongest force in China so he supported them over the communists.

April 1926 and it built upon the Treaty of Rapallo.

What were the terms of the Treaty of Berlin? (3)

Agreed a non-aggressive pact.
If one country was boycotted economically by others the other country wouldn't join in.
