BOQ take risk on the quants client but can be worth it, is a great audit of the design, good basis for variations as i have the quantities measured.

IMPS 1 - gea - includes balconies identified separately
IPMS - GIFA- dominant face
IPMS 3- NIA - includes columns unlike NIA did.

A

Needed to understand the structural design, was it just a load bearing structure, how deep were the strip foundation below 1m not worth using them, how were we forming the roof what was the type and weight of beams. They had identified either strip or pads… needed to know what we were going to do because

What did you advise on EBR in relation to the interior designer?

A

delay programme including prolongation fees, reduced the scheme and reverted to elements in the budget but also elements that could eb included but would cause delay.

Additionally may have been best to do the works later under a seperate contract to avoid prolongation fees but then youd hav to retender and that comes at a cost.
