DHCP
(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). A network protocol that automatically assigns IP addresses and other network settings to devices.
Diagnostics Menu
A special menu, often in BIOS or firmware, used to run hardware tests and troubleshoot issues.
Dictionary Attack
A cyberattack method where common words or passwords from a list (dictionary) are tried to crack passwords.
