Service
A background process or program that runs without user interaction and performs essential functions, such as network connectivity, printing, or system monitoring.
Service Menu
A hidden or advanced menu often used by technicians to access diagnostic tools or perform maintenance tasks on hardware like printers, monitors, or mobile devices.
Service Pack
A collection of updates, fixes, and enhancements released by software vendors (like Microsoft) to improve the performance and security of an operating system or software.
Services (Windows Services)
Background processes in Windows OS that provide functionality such as Windows Update, printing, networking, and more. Managed via the Services app (services.msc).
Settings App (Windows Settings)

SFTP

SSO
(Single Sign-On). An authentication process allowing users to log in once and access multiple related systems or applications without needing to log in again.
Single Factor Authentication
Authentication method that requires only one form of verification, typically a password or PIN.
