CMOS Battery
A small battery on the motherboard that powers the CMOS memory, preserving BIOS settings and system clock when the computer is off.
CMOS Clear
The process of resetting BIOS settings to factory defaults, usually by removing the CMOS battery or using a jumper on the motherboard.
CMOS Setup Program
The interface accessed during startup to configure BIOS settings like boot order, hardware options, and system time.
Coaxial Cable
