they banned the sale of key materials to Japan and basically cut off trade , it was a major problem for Japan .

nazi leaders were put on trial and charged with war crimes including crimes against humanity

most of them were convicted and were either executed or imprisoned

forced to accept responsibility for their actions

similar trials were held in Tokyo

under General MacArthur US occupier Japan and runs the country for several years

Japan was forced to demilitarize and forced to become a democracy

The emperor was allowed to stay symbolic leader

how does Cold War begin to develope

tensions begin to develop between the US and Soviet union

this new conflict begins partly because the Soviet Union had troops in place throughout Eastern Europe and begin to settle communist dictatorship under the control of the USSR
