First position
standing thighs together with toes pointed out, arms in front
Second Position
An extended first position with a foot of space between your feet with arms extended out
Third position
both feet pointing out, placing your right foot’s heel directly in front of the middle of your left foot, leaving one arm extended and raising the other one up.
Fourth position
An extended third position with about a foot of space in between your feet. Still keeping one arm raised above your head, bring in the extended arm back into a first position.
Fifth position
Both feet pointing out, your right foot directly in front of your left with its heel lined up with your toes of your left foot. You will then raise both arms up.
Changement
starting in fifth position and switching springing up off the ground and changing feet in the air, bringing your opposite foot to the front.
Saute’
jumping in first position and finishing in second
Porte de bras
placement of the arms
chain’e
Twirling on the balls of your feet
relev’e
standing on the balls of your feet
Retir’e
placing your foot on the side of your leg pointed down and either keeping it there or raising it up.
Tendu
extending your leg either front, back, left or right, pointing your foot towards the ground as extending.
Coup’e
exchanging weight from one leg to another in a closed position.
Degag’e
From a tendu position you slightly lift your foot up as if your disengaging it off the ground.
Ronde Jambe
from a front tendu position you make a half circle in the clockwise direction
