A
- Malignant neoplasm of the bone marrow
- Overproduction of one type of white blood cell
- Expand and replace normal bone marrow suppresing normal cells and platelets
- Excess white cells circulate in blood

- Chlorhexidine mouthwash during treatment
- Antibiotic therapy
- Extractions deferred
