- Common in children

- CT or MRI to look for abscess
- Blood cultures

- Prompt drainage of abscess

diagnosis
Clinical—
- mid-dilated pupil
- cloudy cornea
- eye is hard to the touch
Narrow angle glaucoma
treatment
- Ocular emergency
- Beta blocker
- Alpha agonist
- Systemic carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and mannitol
- Laser tx to poke hole in iris to drain fluid in severe cases
