A tissue is a group of similar cells that work together to perform a particular function.
Can a tissue include more than one type of cell?
Yes.
Give 3 examples of tissues in mammals
Muscular tissue, glandular tissue, and epithelial tissue

Less than 0.1mm
What is an organ?
An organ is a group of different tissues that work together to perform a certain function
What role does muscular tissue play in the stomach?
Moves the stomach wall to churn up food
What role does glandular tissue play in the stomach?
Makes digestive juices to digest food.
What role does epithelial tissue play in the stomach?
Covers the inside and outside of the stomach
