What is section 60 of the Criminal Justice Public Order Act 1994?
-Prevention of serious violence
-Authorised by an inspector or above.
-Officers can stop and search any person / vehicle in the designated area.
-Must do GOWISELY
- If there is reasonable belief that incidents involving serious violence may occur, or if offensive weapons / dangerous instruments are in the area.
-Entitlement to copy of search lasts for 12 months.
What is section 50 of the police reform act 2002?
Police power which requires a person to state their name and address if involved in anti social behaviour.

What is a dispersal order?
A constable can direct a person to leave the designated area and not return for up to 48 hrs, to remove or reduce the likelihood of harassment, alarm or distress, or crime or disorder.
Put in place by an inspector or above - must be authorised in writing.

Anyone who lives, works, is educated, or receives medical treatment in the area or is mandated there by court.

If there is persistent activities taking place that have detrimental effect on the quality of life of those in the locality

What can public pace protection orders be used for?
Can be used to ban alcohol consumption in public. If breached a constable may seize any alcohol or anything they believe to be.

An offence for an owner or person in charge of a dog to allow it to be dangerously out of control in any place. (PUBLIC OR PRIVATE)

If the owner is a householder, the dog is in the dwelling and the person injured is a trespasser.

When does anti - social use of vehicles apply?
When motor vehicles ae being driven without due care and attention or illegally off road and in a manner which causes alarm, distress or annoyance.

If the driver has received a warning in the last 12 months the vehicle can be seized and removed.
Constable who seizes can be different from constable who issued the warning.
