Medial surface of ramus of mandible
What is the action of the Medial pterygoid muscle?
Elevates and protrudes mandible
What does the Pterygoid venous plexus communicate with and by?
- Facial veins, Maxillary veins and Cavernous sinus
- By emissary veins passing through Foramen Ovale & Foramen Lacerum
Where does the Maxillary artery arise from?
Within Parotid Gland

Buccal nerve
What are the functions of the Posterior division of the Mandibular Nerve (V3)?
3 branches all sensory except one
