Identity, time, cause and location of death is responsibility of Coroner.
Process of investigation often begins at the point the body was originally found.
Therefore during the rescue phase
“Bodies and human remains should only be moved by LFB or LAS to enable access to the living, or to prevent further damage/ total loss of a body (i.e. By a fire). Such movements may have to be accounted for later”said the
