Nervous tissue, Muscular tissue, epithelial tissue and connective tissue
What is the function of the nervous tissue?
It is specialized for communication of electrical and chemical signals within the body
What types of cells are found in the nervous tissue?
Neurons and Neuraglia
What is the function of a neuron?
To transmit messages and detect stimuli
What is the function of the neuroglia cells
To protect and assist neurons
What are the three types of muscular tissue
Skeletal, cardiac and smooth
Where is skeletal muscular tissue located
Anywhere where muscle attaches to the bone
Where is cardiac muscle tissue located
On the heart
Where is smooth muscle tissue located
In the digestive system (Oesophagus, Stomach and intestines)

Movement and changing size

To cover, secrete or protect something

Simple Squamous, Stratified squamous, simple cuboidal, stratified cuboidal, simple columnar, stratified columnar, pseudostratified and transitional

Secretion
What is the primary function of stratified epithelial tissue
Protection
