What is the clavicle?
A long bone between the scapula and sternum.
What does the clavicle do?
Supports muscles and mobility of shoulder.
What are the bony landmarks of the clavicle?
Acromical end - Acromiclavicular joint
Sternal end - Sternoclavicular joint
What does the sternoclavicular joint do?
Increases shoulder mobility.
There is a sagittal and coronal plane of motion between the clavicle and the scapula.
What kind of bone is the scapula?
Flat bone
