If you are in field, you are limited to the Troop in which you were assigned.

If you are in field, but not assigned to a barracks, then you may request any Troop as your primary choice.

Troop F is reserved for OS, DFS (with above exception), DAS, DIS, DST, DHS, FSD.

A

Troop commanders are directly responsible for the administration and supervision of this general order.

They shall assign a supervisor to conduct inspections of Detail sites and submit SP 381 forms with findings .

That’s why Blackwell wants us to do inspections because he’s responsible as the XO .

Who grants extensions to the 16.5 hour rule?

A

Troop commander, or Troop duty officer of jurisdiction over the Detail.

How many extensions to the 16.5 hour rule may I have?

A

Only one extension in any 48 hr period.

No more than 2 hour extensions shall be granted without the member being required to take paid leave time (vacation, personal) to ensure adequate rest before the start of the next assignment.

Within the Troop, who is in charge of Troop inspections?

A

The executive officer of the Troop (captain Blackwell).

He shall maintain all SP – 381 forms, and ensure that those forms, indicating unsatisfactory performance are brought to the attention of the Troop commander.

Staff inspectors. They submit written reports to the appropriate Troop commander of findings and recommendations.

A

A Troop Commander’s Order. The Troop commanders shall assign a supervisor as the Paid Detail officer.

The paid Detail officer shall work in administrative dayshift or eve shift at the direction of the Troop commander.

Ensure the administration of paid Details complies with the Troop commanders order.
