  • Abdominal obesity
    • 94M, 80F in Europeans
    • 90M, 80F in South Asian/Chinese)
  • AND 2 or more of
    • Elevated triglycerides (> 1.7 mmol/L)
    • Low HDL-C (< 0.9 mmol/L M, < 1.3 mmol/L F)
    • High BP (130/85 or treated)
    • Hyperglycaemia (FPG > 5.6 mmol/L or diagnosed T2D)
