A

Pityriasis rosea

Normally a sentinel patch spreads to form a Christmas tree pattern

A

Erythema nodosum (generally these are painful and restricted to the shins)

A

Bullous pemphigoid - probably an autoimmune reaction to skin resulting in the epidermis shearing off

What is this rash? What is the normal distribution?

A

Henoch-Schonlein purpura (a systemic vasculitis common in childhood) - generally on the lower limbs and low trunk only in an extensor distribution

A

Tinea corporis.

DDx - discoid eczema

Scaly annular lesion with outer red ring, central hypopigmentation

What are these lesions? What causes them?

A

Molluscum contagiosum (caused by MCV)

Skin coloured papules with a central umbilicus. Can be treated in the same way as warts

What are these lesions and how are they treated?

A

Viral warts (HPV)

Can spontaneously regress. Treatments include topical salicyclate, DCP, imiquimod, cryotherapy, curettage, diathermy etc.
