  • Post-inflammatory (infection) or obstructive (neoplasm, FB, asthma)
  • Recurrent inflammation and fibrosis leads to traction on surrounding walls and dilation

What is progressive TB?

A
  • TB spread that can follow directly from primary infection if immunosuppressed (miliary, cavitary fibrocaseous, bronchopneumonia)
  • Contrast with secondary TB (reactivation of contained primary TB)
