Difference bw します and やります

A

Both mean to do. します is more formal and can be something you did consciously or unconsciously. やります is more formal and implies your full consciousness on the activity

Uses for やります

A
  1. Instead of あげる (to give), but implies you’re more superior to the recipient
  2. To send (like おくる) but for sending a person
    3.with いっぱい to say, “Let’s Drink” only for booze.
  3. To say, “I made it!” やった!
