To the interior cellar entrance door remains there to protect the stairs.
Does not advance down stairs if there is an outside entrance. Unless the fire is minor
Where does the first line go at an OLT store fire?
Into the store
Where does the second line go at OLT store fires?
To the entrance hallway to protect the stairs
The second line does not go above until assured it is not needed on the first floor

To the cellar by way of exterior entrance

No under no circumstances should the cornice be opened for smoke
How do you check to see you have fire in the cockloft or cornice?
By opening the ceiling below or opening returns if present
If you see a rapidly rising column of smoke with embers ascending over the roof top if the bldg what is this an indication of?
A shaft fire
If you see large quantities of black smoke over the roof this may be a indication of. ?
Fire at or near top floor cockloft fire or roof fire
When members are operating on floors above the fire are members suppose to force more than one door for an area if refuge?
Members should force one or more doors on each floor above the fire
Which officers on the fire floor are responsible to let units above know of any change in conditions on fire floor?
All of the officers are responsible

At a NLT where would you find the cellar entrance?
The entrance is by way of an exterior stairway
Also the first fl cellar ceiling is fireproof construction
