ถึงอย่างงั้น means “even so; despite that; nevertheless”

It is used to shoIt is an informal Thai phrase used to express contrast.

It usually comes at the beginning of a clause to introduce an idea that goes against or continues in spite of what was previously mentioned.

Structure: [condition] + ถึงอย่างงั้น + [unexpected or contrasting result]

He was really tired. Even so, he kept working.

ฝนตกหนักมาก ถึงอย่างงั้นพวกเขาก็ออกไปเที่ยว
It rained heavily. Still, they went out.

เธอป่วยมาเป็นอาทิตย์ ถึงอย่างงั้นก็ยังไปเรียน
She had been sick for a week. Nevertheless, she still went
to class.

อยู่ดี means “anyway; after all; still”

It is a common Thai word used to show that something happens anyway, despite reasons or efforts to prevent it.

It is very commonly used together with the word ยัง (still), making the sentence sound very natural and fluent.

Structure: [Fact/Action/Condition], (ยัง) + Verb + อยู่ดี

ถึงจะไปหาหมอเก่งๆ แต่เขาก็(ยัง)ไม่ดีขึ้นอยู่ดี
Even though he saw a great doctor, he still didn’t get better.

หลังกินอาหารจนหมด เขายังหิวอยู่ดี
Even after finishing all the food, he was still hungry anyway.

เขาพยายามเป็นกันเองกับทุกคน แต่หลายคนก็ยังไม่ชอบเขาอยู่ดี
He tried to be friendly to everyone, but many people still didn’t like him anyway.
