Maximise nappy free time
Frquent nappy change
Ensure area is dry before putting on nappy
Apply thin layer of barrier cream (zinc and castor oil ointment or white soft paraffin oinment)
Inflammed rash and children over 1 month
1% hydrocortisone + barrier cream
Fungal rash
Topical clotrimazole
Bacterial rash
PO flucloxacillin solution 7/7 OR Clarithromycin if penicillin allery
