GE includes the elimination of all forms of discrimination and violence against women and girls -> improves physical h & w because women are less likely to experience injuries as a result of violence

Females will feel more empowered to make their own decisions about their lives, such as whether and whom they marry -> HD
Peace and security
People are able to engage in activities that improves their standard of living
Peace and security on HD
The risk of personal injury and the destruction of infrastructure is reduced -> vulnerable groups can be reached to address issues to ensure they have a long and healthy life like poverty and food insecurity
Peace and security HS
The environmental impact of war doesn’t occur -> increases access to food and services such as health care
-> Water and sanitation facilities and electricity supplies can also be maintained and people are less likely to be displaced -> reduces risk of malnutrition and premature death -> + LE
Peace and security on H & W
In the absence of conflict, People can go about their daily lives, performing activities such as attending work or going to school -> People can work to reduce poverty -> assists in providing resources such as food, water, and healthcare -> reduces stress created due to lack of resources (mental)
Access to safe and decent standard working conditions
All people can access meaningful employment, including women, young people, people with disability
Work people do that violate HR + HW
Human trafficking, forced labour, child labour
Children: Prostitution, mining, commercial agriculture, child soldiers, Drug trade
Safe work and HS
Fewer people forced into prostitution -> reduces risk of contracting HIV and other STIs -> reducing mortality & morbidity rates
Safe work and H & W
Children will be able to stay in school -> greater ability to socialise with peers and build effective communication with others (social h & w)
Safe work and HD
Feel safe at work and earn a reliable income -> improves ability to afford the resources required for a decent standard of living such as food and shelter + allows people to participate in the life of their community
