lid and periorbital oedema
ptosis
conjunctival swelling (chemosis)

trauma
tumours
nerve palsies

How might enopthalmos occur

blowout fracture
small globe
atrophy

Visual dysfunction - what goes wrong?

poor acuity (eg ON compression)
colour abnormalities

Dynamic properties include ...?

pulsation
bruits (due to AV communications)

What fundus changes may be seen?

optic disc swelling/atrophy
choroidal folds (eg in thyroid disease)
