why is blepharitis not a red eye condition

inflammation of eyelid margin

red eyelid margins, burning/itching, eyelids maay be inflamed, mild discharge, crusting

Causes of Blepharitis

unclear prob multifactorial
-staph infection
-seborrheic dermatitis
-meibomian gland dysfunction

Management of blepharitis

warm compress
lid cleaning and massage
artificial tears
