Includes three processes:
- Quality planning
- Quality assurance
- Quality control

Set requirements and standards which should be met.

Set actions which should be taken to meet requirements.

1) Establish QM procedures and policies (organisation).

2) Establish quality plan as part of the project being executed

What is quality ASSURANCE?

Answer 3

Assuring that the planned quality activities (according to the PQMP) are done.

Provide confidence that we are doing everything we can to ensure the quality of the deliverables.

Make sure current project executed according to PQMP.

Make sure continuously improving in what we do now, for future projects.

Configuration management, design reviews, audits, classification of characteristics, FMEA, modelling and prototyping.

What is quality CONTROL?

Answer 4

Ensuring that the quality assurance activities are done and that requirements and standards are being met.

Include planned quality control activities and ad hoc problem solving.
