IM QVICK
Infarction (esp w/ ventricular aneurysm)
Myocarditis
QT interval increased
Valve abnormality: mitral prolapse, AS
Iatrogenic: digoxin antiarrhythmias, catheter
Cardiomyopathy (esp. dilated)
Hypokalamia, hypomagnism, hypozia, acidosis

Mx

1. Oxygen and IV access
2. Adverse signs: sedation, synchronised cardioversion, amiodarone
3. no adverse signs: correct electrolyte problems
4. Assess rhythma

Regular rhythm Rx

Amiodarone
Lignocaine

Irregular rhythm

AF with BBB
Pre-excited AF: Flecainide/amiodarone
TDP: MgSO4 2g IV over 10 min

Recurrent/Paroxysmal VT

2. Beta-blocker
