What are pathogens
Microorganisms that cause disease.
What are phagocytes
a type of cell capable of engulfing and absorbing bacteria and other small cells and particles.
What are lymphocytes
a type of white blood cell that plays a crucial role in the immune system by fighting infections and diseases.The B cells produce antibodies . The T cells destroy the body’s own cells that have been taken over by viruses or become cancerous.

protection you develop when your body fights off an infection
What is artificial immunity
Protection against a pathogen that is achieved through human intervention
what is passive immunity
Receiving antibodies from an outside source, rather than the body producing them
What are vaccines
Vaccines contain weakened or inactive parts of a particular organism that triggers an immune response and causes it to make antibodies.
