A

-a geographic area organized around a node or center point
-often based around an economic, political, or environmental point

What is a perceptual region?

A

-a geographic area that has no perfect definition
-exists based on people’s beliefs, feelings, and attitudes of the region
-often in a person’s mind
-no set boundaries
-heavily uses cardinal directions (relative location)
