How does vulvar Paget’s disease differ from mammary Paget’s disease?

A
  • Mammary - almost always associated with underlying breast carcinoma
  • Vulvar - associated with benign neoplasms arising from sweat glands and hair follicles
    • some cases represent an underlying malignancy from the bladder, gynecologic tract, or colon
