What is Final Completion?
The stage when all punch list items are complete and the contractor has fulfilled all contractual obligations.
Is there a Certificate of Final Completion?
No. Final completion is documented by the architect’s final Certificate for Payment.
What is the architect’s responsibility at Final Completion (B101 §3.6.6)?
Conduct final inspection and determine the date of final completion.
