What is the fundamental attribution error?
Tendency to attribute people’s behavior to personality rather than situational factors
What is correspondence bias?
Tendency to expect the behaviors of others to correspond with our own beliefs and personalities
What is actor/observer bias?
For ourselves, rely on situational attribution; for others, rely on personal attribution
What is attitude accessibility?
How easily or difficultly you can retrieve and attitude from memory
What is cognitive dissonance?
Uncomfortable mental state due to contradiction between two attitudes or between an attitude and a behavior
