A
Myasthenia gravis and MAO inhibitors within past 14 days

Side Effects?
A
ALOC, hypotension, brady, CA and chest wall paralysis

Action?
A
Short acting narcotic agonist. Does not cause vasodilation associated with morphine so it may be used for hypovolemic patients

ADULT?
A
25 to 100 mcg slow IV/IO over 2 to 3 minutes
1 mcg/kg slow IV/IO over 2 to 3 minutes

A
1 mcg/kg slow IV/IO over 2 to 3 minutes

FENT CONCENTRATION?
A
100 mcg/2mL or 50 mcg/mL
