Summarise the Building Safety Act 2022?
The Building Safety Act 2022 improves building safety regulations, especially for high-rise residential buildings.
It creates a Building Safety Regulator,
defines clear legal duties for owners and developers,
introduces a “Golden Thread” of safety information,
and gives residents more rights.
It also extends liability periods for building defects 15 years for buildings have June 2022, 30 years for buildings and protects leaseholders from unfair costs.

The types of incidents to report to Health and Safety Executive (HSE) under RIDDOR include:

some work-related diseases,
dangerous occurrences,
and gas incidents.
