Describe the 2 PARTS of the PREPARATORY PHASE
A
1) General conditioning, high volume low intensity to develop a base of endurance
2) Comp specific training, progressively higher intensity with focus on speed, strength and gameplay tactics

Describe the COMPETITION PHASE
A
- Maintenance of fitness and conditioning with focus on ‘in season’ comp skills, tactics and strats
- Intensity is increased to mimic game activity and intensity

A
- After competitive season
- Low intensity to maintain a level of conditioning
