Contraindication
for DMPA ( depo provera )

A
  1. Pregnancy (known or suspected)
  2. Vaginal bleeding of unknown aetiology.
  3. Breast cancer (known or suspected)
  4. Liver disease
  5. Allergy to the injection or to one of the
    components

**A history of VTE or thrombophlebitis is not a
contraindication
