List minor injuries
Small abrasions, first degree burn , mild conjunctivitis, minor contusions, foreign body in eye ( already remove) , lacerations not requiring sutures , minor sprains and strains with NO swelling or discoloration
When must the medical officer be notified?
All injuries - service connected , remainder of the tour , and minor injuries as well as ALL biological exposures - with or without symptoms
What shall NOT be considered a minor injury ?
Burns, other than first degree
Chest pains
Sprains or strains, with swelling or discoloration
Any injury resulting in fainting , blackout, loss of memory
Shortness of breath
If a member was exposed to a chemical and is now coughing from the exposure, the company officer would be correct to prepare?
Both an injury report and an exposure report noting both in each narrative
A multiple member injury report must be forwarded to the chief of ops whenever ____ or more members suffer injuries at the same incident resulting in medical leave .
