Q

A

Comments on social media

As soon as you start to deal with social media, you imagine that all users are happy about their own contributions.

However, one gets the impression that not everyone reacts to posts as positively as one would expect.

Often you have to deal with negative comments, provocative criticism and bad feedback.

As long as these comments can be interpreted with irony and humor, everything is fine.

However, one must also note that many comments should not be taken too seriously.

9
Q

A

Comments on social media

Because often tweets or reactions to your posts and comments are kept very brief, badly and insultingly written and often not rationally understandable.

Such comments are used to provoke the other person or to attack him personally.

But it doesn’t have to be like that!

Tweets and comments can also be written politely and rationally and need not be aggressive or offensive.

Bleibe dabei sachlich!

I don’t think that’s good at all!
But it’s my opinion!

Student: Doesn’t think the friend’s contribution is good and would like to give him your own opinion on it and contradict him.

17
Q

A

Respond correctly to criticism

The sound often makes the music.
The same applies, of course, to responding to criticism on social media.

So that you get a little more reassurance and don’t react rashly, here are a few steps before you show a reaction:

  1. Comments should be thoughtful, constructive, and stimulating.
  2. You react tolerantly, but you can also disagree.
  3. Never take criticism personally!

It is important to point out facts and not to react just as personally to personal, insulting criticism!

18
Q

Auf Kritik reagieren

Ich-Sätze verwenden:

Es ärgert mich, dass…

Es hat mich verletzt, dass…

Ich finde deinen letzten Beitrag nicht gerechtfertigt.

A

Respond to criticism

Use first-person sentences:

I was angry../
It annoys me that …

It hurt me that …
I’ve seen / read that …
I thought about your contribution …

It hurt me that you got so personal with your last comment.

I don’t find your last post justified.

19
Q

Du meinst also, dass…

A

Respond correctly to criticism

Stuck situations can also be defused with certain formulations.

If I understand you correctly, then it is important to you that …

So you mean that …

I take what you say as follows …

I understood your objections, but I still believe that …

I understood your point of view, but I still believe that your aggressive comment is unjustified.
