What are the three components of attitudes?
Cognition, affect, and behavior
The opinion or belief segment of an attitude
Cognitive component
The emotional or feeling segment of an attitude
Affective component
An intention to behave in a certain way toward someone or something
Behavioral component
Any incompatibility between two or more attitudes or between behavior and attitudes
Cognitive Dissonance
The degree to which an organization values their contribution and cares about their well-being
Perceived Organizational Support
An individuals involvement with, satisfaction with, and enthusiasm for the work he or she does
Employee engagement
Bottom-line conclusions individuals have about their capabilities, competetence, and worth as a person
