Q

What is the Vealey’s sport confidence model?

A
  • Shows that every sports person or athlete has an existing level of sport confidence, which is a trait (SC-trait) and an existing level of competitiveness (competitive orientation)
  • The amounts of SC-trait and competitive orientation both influence the level of confidence that shown in a specific situation in sport (SC-state) or level of self-efficacy during specific competition
  • The level od the SC-stae then dictates the behaviour that is hown and the skill level of the performance
